Yuki is a radio frequency and electromagnetic interference engineer at SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA.  He tests avionics and other hardware for the Dragon capsules and Falcon 9 rockets to make sure they work under the harsh outer space environments and are compatible with the International Space Station and crew safety.

He grew up in Japan, came to the US for high school with a dream of being an astronaut, studied physics at Caltech, did a MSc research in the UK, and recently completed PhD in experimental astrophysics at UC Berkeley.  He just moved to LA to work toward making space travel possible for more people (including himself and friends)!
